Are you all ready to make some Pao de Queijo?

The first thing we need is tapioca flour. Can you feel how it's different from regular flour?

Adding in the first cup of tapioca flour.

Second cup!

Time to boil the milk and oil together.

Place one cup of milk in a medium saucepan.
-
Then add in half cup of oil.
-
Bring everything into a gentle boil and stir occasionally. Remove from heat once you see bubbles coming through the milk.

Pour the liquids in with the flour and stir with a spatula until the dough comes out grainy and sticky.

After the dough has cooled down a bit, add in one egg at a time.

Making sure the eggs are nicely incorporated into the dough.

Now the dough is nice and stretchy...

Add in a generous amount of shredded cheese.

Knead the cheese until evenly distributed.

When ready, we can start forming the dough into small pingpong ball-sized pieces.
